A structured overview of coronary, structural heart, electrophysiology, cardiac device and endovascular procedures that may be considered after individual clinical assessment.
Overview
The procedures below are planned according to the patient’s clinical condition, established indication, expected benefit and risk, the technical capabilities of the relevant hospital and, when appropriate, multidisciplinary assessment.
Angiographic assessment of the coronary arteries
01
Interventional Cardiology
Coronary angiography
Right and left heart catheterisation
Coronary physiological assessment with FFR/iFR
Coronary balloon angioplasty
Coronary stent implantation
Coronary atherectomy and complex coronary interventions
Angiographic assessment of the peripheral arteries
05
Endovascular Procedures
Peripheral angiography
Renal artery angiography
Carotid angiography
Lower-extremity arteriography and venography
Peripheral balloon angioplasty
Peripheral stent implantation
Peripheral thrombectomy and thrombolysis
Vena cava filter and stent procedures
How suitability is assessed
Symptoms, medical history, physical examination and available test results are reviewed first. Additional ECG, echocardiography, rhythm monitoring, coronary imaging or other tests may be requested when clinically indicated. The procedure, alternatives, expected benefit and relevant risks are then discussed with the patient.
Where procedures are performed
Consultation and follow-up take place at the private practice. Invasive procedures are scheduled at hospitals with the necessary authorisation, equipment and clinical support. The hospital and treatment plan are finalised according to medical suitability and institutional conditions.
Emergency: Call emergency services for sudden severe chest pain, major shortness of breath, fainting or signs of stroke. Do not wait for an online response.
